Nigerian nollywood actor and socialite Kanayo O Kanayo has on a video in his Instagram page suggest that the Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu should make sure the death of the 12 year old Dowen student should not be left aside or rather swept under the carpet.
He said that the governor should ensure things are done the proper way it is supposed to be.
Recall that the 12 year old Sylvester Oromoni was tortured by his peers for not joining cult in Dowen college lekki. The Lagos state govt in reaction to this closed the school for the time being while investigations are carried on.
The actor asked the governor that he should act more on this case as shutting down the school is not the only action that should be done, else people would take justice to themselves.
In his video, he said;
Dear Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after the #ENDSARS protest and reports, you have another challenge in your hands. The case of the 12-year-old Sylvester, your son, cannot be swept under the carpet.It is not enough to shut down the school, do not allow people take laws into their hands. It is something that must be brought to book.
