The Scholarship provides encouragement and support for commencing and continuing UniSA pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students from an international background.
A well funded ongoing scholarship opportunity is available by the University of South Australia for international candidates who are interested in studying a degree program at the institution. The university is offering $5000, into two installments of $2500 to the candidates following census date.

Dr Terry Farquharson Medical International Scholarships
This scholarship is been offered by Dr Terry Farquharson Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Scholarship or Dr Terry Farquharson Medical Scholarship has had a rewarding medical career as the result of completing a medical degree at the University of Adelaide. Dr Farquharson has kindled an interest in helping students who may be financially disadvantaged to achieved the same benefits from a medical career.
Two Scholarships shall be awarded to continuing students undertaking the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program at the University of Adelaide. The Scholarship will provide assistance with education and living costs for one year of the approved program for which the Scholarship was approved.

For interested candidates to be eligible, you must;
- Interested candidates must be from an international background (international student, refugee background, recent migrant).
- Interested candidates must be enrolled in an eligible pharmacy or pharmaceutical science program.
- Interested candidates must be a commencing or continuing full-time student.
- Interested candidates must demonstrate financial need.
- Interested candidates must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program or an equivalent program in your home country or a recognized pathway or foundation studies program.
